Call of Cthulhu Gets An Official Release Date.

Great news landed in our inbox this morning, Redwasp Design have announced an official release date for “Call of Cthulhu The Wasted Land” the turn based World War 1 based strategy horror will be released on Iphone and iPod on the 30th of January 2012 in both standard and HD versions. Other versions for Android devices will follow along with a iPad version too. 

Call of Cthulhu: The Wasted Land is a turn-based strategy RPG based around the works of cult horror writer H.P.Lovecraft. The game is set in the midst of the First World War and pits a team of soldiers and investigators against an insidious cult intent on using the slaughter of the Great War to open the doors to an invasion of eldritch horrors.

 

The Bristol based indie developer “Red Wasp Design” perhaps most famous for their excellent PS3 tower defense game Savage Moon have taken on the role of bringing the writing’s of H.P. Lovecraft’s and Chaosium’s table top board game to life.
