E3 2012 Ubisoft Press Conference Overview

Industry Event E3 2012

Press Event : Ubisoft Press Conference

Date 04.06.2012

Ubisoft always dish up some cringe worthy presentations and this year is no different as they open up with Flo rida?? Taking to the stage with some eager dancing girls to showcase some of the tracks in Dance Central, it is just as well they have some awesome games to follow.

Far Cry 3 : The breathtakingly beautiful open world is shown off during an amazing looking gameplay sequence on the PS3 and the promise of some extra special announcements coming later this week as well at a look at the full expanse of the islands that you can free roam around in Far Cry coming soon.

Splinter Cell Blacklist : Single player, Co-op and spies v Mercs mode will be included in what promises to be the biggest Splinter Cell game to date. A brand new trailer was then shown showing Sam Fisher going back to his original look including the famous 3 green scopes from his night vision goggles.

Rayman Legends Wii U :  The new console from Nintendo is going to get a creative juices flowing and what better team to get to grips with the new controller than the team behind Rayman. Utilising the touch screen and also the newly announced Pro controller Rayman Legends has all the hall marks of a instant classic.

ZombiU : A Wii U exclusive set in London got an amazing looking CGI trailer reinforcing Nintendo’s desire to enlist the best third party developers this time around to deliver some adult games. Perhaps the Wii U won’t be a total flop after all.

Assassins Creed 3 : Set for the first time on American soil AC3 gets a cut scene trailer followed by an even better looking gameplay sequence. Honestly AC3 is one of the best looking games we have seen today and we have seen quite a few. Spanning 30 years of history you will battle enemies on two feet and four and in winter and summer.

Perhaps most interesting is Watch Dogs a presentation got people excited but also opened up so many new questions, is it multiplayer, how free are you to roam and just what the hell is going on? It has already been in production for 2 years now and looks very interesting indeed.

Ubisoft are looking very strong again after this years E3.
