The Last Guardian
RELEASE – 2016

The first opening title of the Sony Press Conference was a huge relief to many as it re-confirmed the existence of The Last Guardian, which had lurked around the interwebs for some time. 6 minutes of a trailer showed some gorgeous vistas on PS4. Fumito Ueda is Creative Director.

Horizon – Zero Dawn
RELEASE – Unknown

With footage captured directly from PS4, Killzone creators Guerrilla Games’s newest franchise makes it’s debut on PS4. The Horizon trailer sees a huntress exploring a painted caves of “the ones that came before”, while the narrator tells the history of humankind and its downfall. Nature took over, tribes re-emerged and rebuilt a civilisation based on the technologies of the previous age, in a primal hunter-gatherer fashion.

Sentient technology roams the land, and we see the huntress take down a dino-sized monster machine with a bow and several pretty nifty and gadget-y arrows.

No Man’s Sky

Dualshock 4 controllers can be used to sketch objects and characters in surreal environments, after which they can also be animated by the controller.
