EA Press Conference

EA step up and don’t disappoint with a short simple but jam packed press conference including Battlefield 3, Mass Effect 3, The Sims on Facebook and Need for speed.

The show opens with Casey Hudson introducing Mass Effect 3, the final chapter in the trilogy from Bioware with some impressive gameplay footage and the first look at the new trailer.

Need for speed the run is a high speed battle from San Fran to New York, that takes the action out of the car and on foot ! for the first time ever as players battle to avoid arrest. A gameplay demo shows of the over the top action we expect from the NFS series.

Bioware Star Wars The Old Republic trailer speaks for itself we will run it once we get our hands on it.

Moving quickly along to SSX which will release early 2012.

Peter Moore comes back to talk a bit about SSX, a massive open world that will allow players to drop into any mountain range in the globe, with 3 different ways to play.

Fifa12  show’s off the new player impact engine, precision dribbling and tactical defending.

EA Sports Football club allows players to connect to the real world of football, taking stories directly from the real football world and it will be free this year! A social outlet that allows you to earn points in the online world. You can even team up with fellow fans and help your club push up the virtual league by all winning together.

Madden 12 with some help from some very large men show the new collision system, dynamic player performance and its other big addition the motion camera that has given them the option to add real life camera’s to the game using a new camera rig.

 

EA Partners then gives 38 studios a chance to show off The Reckoning a new RPG set for 2012, followed by CEO of Insomniac games Ted Price introduces Overstrike their first multi-platform game. A set of misfits and outcasts but when man kind  is threatened they are the only ones to turn to!. This game looks liek it will be a lot of fun as well as having great action sequences.

Battlefield 3, Frostbite 2 engine gets a brief demo along with a clip from a multi player game set in Paris, Battlelog will allow players to share their stats online and just before going into a stunning live demo the big announcement of a multi platform beta in September and a release date on October 25th.

And that was that short and sweet packed with solid gameplay footage and not a lot of fuss.
