Release Date Out Now

There is little point going over the full review again at this stage as there is little new in this package that has not already been covered earlier in the year. Mass Effect 3 is the final part to a magnificent trilogy, a trilogy that has just been re-released across all the other platforms and here lies the Wii-U’s biggest problem.

Mass-Effect-3-Wii-U-GamePad

The game is undeniably amazing and looks just as good as it does on either of the other consoles but do you really want to start playing this series in the final installment. That being said if you have played the others then this is one of the best ports you will see with some excellent new features thanks to the nifty Wii-U controller.

It acts as a mini map, menu and shows your squad mates special abilities. The controller’s best use is seen in games that are inventory heavy. It allows you to interact with parts of the game that are traditionally hidden behind menus and take you out of the main game to interact with them.

Firefight-1-WM

Overall : A wonderful port of the game it losses nothing and gains a small bit from being on the Wii-U. The online match making works very well and the games looks and plays amazingly. If you are looking for games to play on your Wii-U then you can’t do much better. If you are new to the series though then we have to recommend that you get the full trilogy on one of the other platforms as you can now get the full trilogy for less than part 3 on the Wii-U.

SCORE 9/10
