It’s great news for Smash Bros. Fans – a ton of more DLC and stages are being added to the ever expanding Smash Bros. 3DS and Wii versions!

If you’re short on time and can’t watch the lengthy 18 min video, here’s an inventory of all the new additions:

CHARACTERS AND COSTUMES
• Roy from Fire Emblem (Previously appeared in SSB Melee) and Lucas from Earthbound (SSB Brawl) are returning to the fray!

• Mii Fighter costumes from Megaman: Battle Network, MegamanX, Megaman.exe (Zero), Animal Crossing (Isabelle), Splatoon! (Inkling Boy/Inkling Girl), and outstandingly, Virtua Fighter (Jacky and Akira) and Tekken (Heihachi)

• RYU from Street Fighter franchise (Capcom) has been confirmed as a playable fighter! The design is based on Street Fighter 2’s Ryu, and Hadouken, Hurricane Kick and Shoryuken, some of Ryu’s signature fight moves, all appear as part of his arsenal of attacks. For the first time in Smash Bros history, Ryu has 2 Final Smash attacks.

STAGES
• New Stages! The original Dreamland from the Kirby games appears as a renewed classic for both versions, and 2 more stages are in planning stages from the original Smash Bros. Game.
• A new stage based on the Miiverse will appear for FREE (Wii U version only) – messages will appear in the background, from various users around the internet.
• Ryu’s Stage, Suzaku Castle will also be released, and will appear on both Wii U and 3DS version.
• Omega form stages of all mentioned above

NEW MODES
• Tourney Mode on Wii U: The Tourney mode, which is nearing completion, feature Community tourneys where you compete for the highest points in a certain amount of time, as well as regular Tourneys, that only happen at certain times. Support will be available in August.
• Wii U version will soon have Youtube support – you can now record videos and post them to Youtube.

AMIIBO
• Both Roy and Ryu have Amiibo figures in development.
• All 51 characters from both 3DS and Wii games will eventually have their own Amiibo, including the new additions. Mii Fighters will also have their own Amiibo.
