EA and Dice are generating some good karma after some misunderstandings in the lead up to the release of Battle field 3. Some users got the impression that Battlefield 1943 would be coming free with BF3 but instead EA decided to offer the DLC one week early.

Now in a move to address the mix up they are indeed giving BF1943 free to PS3 users who bought BF3. The Game will be region specific and will be released as follows starting with the European region today.

Nov 26^th 2011 PSN Europe

Dec 10^th 2011 PSN America

Dec 17^th 2011 PSN Asia and Japan.

To redeem your game you must have used your online pass and you need to head to this website and log in,

https://1943redemption.battlefield.com/index.php.

Sing into your EA account and select your region you will be given a code to download 1943 from the PSN.
