The whole package is extended by the inclusion of the story mode. This is a half light gun, half first person shooter and ends up being neither. Very similar to the story mode that came with the PS3 version of Time Crisis 4, where you had an extra analogue stick on the gun attachment which allows you to control where the character goes on screen. This is very different from your usual on rails shooter and does make the experience very different. I did enjoy it a lot more than the arcade game as its more interactive. The cover system takes a little getting used to but does make some sense, but use of a simple button press rather than a Move controller movement would have worked better.
Poor AI has been mentioned but because so many enemies appear on screen you need them not to attack straight away. But this does make it all just too easy in fact this game is very easy. For such a short game that is a bad point. Making the enemies more difficult and restricting the continues would have made this game far more challenging.
But it’s not all bad the graphics are quite good the shooting can be entertaining at times, you have a myriad of weapons and when you see the plaster getting knocked off the walls you shoot it is all done fairly well.
