Modnation is a new kart racing game being developed by United Front Games and is set for a release on the 25^th of May 2010 for both the PS3 and the PSP.

It’s a fresh look at an old favourite. Kart racing has been a sable of every console since Mario kart set the bar. Modnation will aim to top that by introducing a nice little feature, this time giving the user the ability to build the tracks. You create the track, the twists, the turns, the ramps and the weapons!!. Design your new character and kart and set about battling your friends on your own tracks.
   

Similarities to Little big planet are fair the art is quite similar and the concept of user built characters and levels is something we all enjoyed from LBP. Its light fun and colourfull. Everything you would be expecting. Because the levels and characters are user build it will see and endless supply of new tracks. So basically the game will always be new and fresh.

So to the racing which is what it about and it would be useless unless you can battle your buddies. Good news coming from the beta is that they have introduced 4 player split screen as well as 2 player and of course online. So you have the choice on your own hit the online battles or it your having a party then split that screen for 4 way madness.
