The decision to charge in the first place was an odd one and quickly rendered DC universe a ghost town. The smart decision to go Free-To-Play has really paid off with 1 million new players flocking back to the city. 

“DC Universe Online’s transition to free-to-play has been welcomed by the community and gamers with heroic enthusiasm.
