The European online games publisher ProSiebenSat.1 Games and Koch Media announce that PlanetSide 2 will be available as a boxed product for the first time.   
To celebrate reaching an incredible five million registered players,  the PC retail edition of the successful first-person action game will be released on August 16th 2013 priced £7.99 and will be available in addition to the downloadable version which will remain available free of charge.  
The retail version will provide  first-time and active PlanetSide 2 players with exclusive added value items worth more than £40.00.  In addition to the main game with all updates and expansions released so far, the retail version of PlanetSide 2 contains :
