Release Date Nov 2011

Carnival Islands as its name suggests is an island littered with carnival games, 35 games in total but this series of mini games are remarkably similar and quite easy to beat regardless of the numbers the variety just isn’t there.

This Carnival has seen better days and it’s up to the player to reinvigorate the fairground games. The Carnival is split up into different area’s that you can navigate to from the map, each area has a number of stalls which in turn have a number of different challenges to complete.

As you play and complete the challenges you breathe life into the stall, beating the first challenge unlocks a little animal to cheer you on, clearing the next challenge unlocks the next stage etc until you have every challenge completed and the stall back to its former glory.

Despite having 35 games in its arsenal Carnival island can be beaten in a few hours, with little variety in the games there is little replay value, as a full price package these series of mini games rarely offer value for money in the way something like Move Mind Benders does.

Overall : We know the Move works, we have plenty of Mini games to test the tech and a year later there is little room for these types of game packs. Carnival island doesn’t do much wrong but it just doesn’t do anything worth shouting about.

Score 5/10
