Fresh from the show at Gamescom comes a brand new state of the art Officially licensed Racing wheel for the Xbox360. Fans at the show got to have a taste of the real thing as this is a replica of the wheel that appears in the Ferrari 458 as seen in Forza 4.

 

 

Racing enthusiasts will be delighted to know that this wheel has been designed in close consultation with Ferrari basing it on the real life version. Of course as it is still a Xbox360 controller it has all the buttons in very reachable positions allowing users to customise the driving experience.

 

 

The 28″ rubber wheel comes with a number of extra features including metal flappy paddle gears and a set of pedals with a wide footrest and resistive brake pedal for extra precision. An inbuilt motor offers wheel resistance up to 240degrees in rotation !

 

 

If you are used to the shift stick racing experience fear not along with the release of the Racing Wheel Thrustmaster have also announced the TH8 RS gear shift which is heavy duty metal and boasts two different layouts, your normal H pattern that has 8 gears or a sequential option were you push it forward to go up a gear and down to go down. More common in rally cars these days.

 

Both the wheel and the Gear shift will be in stores from October.
