God of War Ascension Demo Confirmed for 27th Feb.

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) has today announced the release of a brand new full-length God of War: Ascension trailer, as well as the opportunity for PlayStation®Network users to get their hands on the single player demo from the 27^th February 2013.

God of War®: Ascension is an unexpected and riveting journey that tells the dark and more human past of Kratos before he became the ‘Ghost of Sparta’. This epic prequel reveals, for the very first time, where the epic journey of Kratos in the story of God of War began and acts as the perfect entry point for new players who are joining the franchise for the first time.

From the 27^th February, become Kratos and escape the epic Prison of the Damned in the God of War: Ascension single player demo which allows players to explore and master the legendary Spartan’s new advanced combat:

· Make your stand against a titanic beast and its infected legions
