Those of us of a certain age will be very excited about this news, but if Grim Fandango is a new name to you, you should be even more excited. Arguably one of the best games ever made and winner of almost every “best of” award in 1998. Grim Fandango is classed as a comedy adventure with influences from film noir and Mexican folklore. This game came from the incredibly talented Lucas Arts studio and was directed by Tim Schafer (now of Double Fine).

The game was very much kept alive by the fans over at GOG.com receiving over 45,000 votes on their community wishlist, but this is not just a release, it is a remastering by many of the original team with new high res character textures, dynamic lighting a new classical score and over two hours of developer commentary from the original team.
