KONAMI unveils ‘entry level’ free-to-play edition of PES 2016

Konami are set to release a free to play version of PES 2016, coming on December the 8th users will be able to get a healthy taste of the this year’s best footy title. This is not a watered down version of the game engine specifically designed for the free to play market, but rather it is a beefed up demo of the full game. It offers the player their choice between 7 teams that can be used in Exhibition mode. Players can also take on the entertaining “My Club” mode where you built your team and take on others online. Wining in game earns you currency that can be then spent on updating your squad with new players, managers and coaches.

Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. has announced a free-to-play edition  of its best-selling  PES 2016  football title exclusively for PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®3.

Starting December 8th, those who haven’t yet experienced PES 2016, this year’s highest rated football title for home gaming consoles, will be able to download a free, entry level version of the game which boasts an Exhibition Mode complete with the choice of 7 teams including Bayern Munich, Juventus, AS Roma, Brazil and France. There is also a full Training section and the popular my Club feature. This version will allow new users to experience  PES  2016’sonline and offline play, and unlimited access to the my Club mode wherein players use accrued in-game currency and micro-transactions to build a title-winning team.

My Club offers an incredible level of depth to PES 2016, and allows players to build a team of world stars. The my Club option has been massively improved since its launch last year, with player level systems, and key players exclusive to the mode. Players can use points acquired through success in matches, or with my Club coins, to experience realistic club management to develop a squad. The my Club rosters and stats are also updated on a weekly basis. More competitions, events and campaigns are constantly added, with players choosing their manager, recruiting coaches, developing playing styles and building a long-term strategy based on their specific aims.
