Official Gears of War 3 Branded Xbox360 Console and Controller Coming Soon.

Designed by Microsoft and Epic games, this limited edition Xbox 360 console commemorates the spectacular story conclusion to one of the most celebrated trilogies in videogame history.  Inspired by the blockbuster Xbox 360 franchise, the Xbox 360 limited edition “Gears of War 3” Bundle includes an exclusive red and black console design with two custom-designed Xbox 360 wireless controllers, a 320GB hard drive and built-in Wi-Fi connection for easier access to the world of entertainment on Xbox LIVE. The console will be available for €399 (ERP) from the beginning of September, 2011.

The package also includes a standard copy of “Gears of War 3,” a wired headset, plus a download token for bonus game content including the Infected Omen Weapon Pack and the Adam Fenix character for use in multiplayer. The Infected Omen Weapon Pack gives fan the infected omen skin for use on the five starting weapons: Lancer, Retro Lancer, Hammerburst, Gransher, and Sawed-Off Shotgun. Also, the power and eject buttons have been customized with unique sounds from the “Gears of War” universe.

Xbox 360 enthusiasts can download exclusive premium content from the new “Gears of War 3” limited edition controller. Designed by Microsoft and Epic Games, the controller has “Gears of War 3” packaging and graphics, and will include a premium transforming D-Pad along with exclusive downloadable content.  The Xbox 360 “Gears of 3” wireless controller will be available for €59.99 (ERP) from the beginning of August 2011.

The custom controller puts the fate of the Delta Squad in your hands.  Emblazoned with the Infected Omen symbol, the controller comes with five downloadable in-game weapon skins for the starting weapons (Lancer, Retro Lancer, Hammerburst, Sawed-Off Shotgun and Gnasher).  and matches the “Gears of War 3” special edition console.  With the new transforming D-Pad and the “Gears of War 3” custom top-case, the controller delivers the best experience on the market.
