Respawn Entertainment is a new studio co-founded by Vince Zampella and Jason West; you may know them better as the founders of Infinity ward and the Call of Duty franchise. Since their split from Infinity Ward and Activation along with many of the core team behind Call of Duty they have gone on to set up Respawn Entertainment and partner with EA.
Titanfall will be the first release from the new studio and will mix two gameplay styles together in the one world. This futuristic warfare will give you the opportunity to fight as either an elite assault pilot or to take control of a heavily armored Titan.
Gameplay wise Titanfall hopes to blur the lines between a traditional multiplayer experience and the single player campaign by taking all the action experienced in the online region and mixing it with epic heroic moments traditionally seen in the single player campaign.
So far what has been shown has impressed and Titanfall took home over 60 awards from E3. With Gamescom just around the corner we are expecting to see a whole lot more from the Respawn team.
